Youth Night & Rent-a-Youth
This past Fridays Scavenger hunt was a great success with remarkably hilarious stories from both teams. For all who didn’t come, you missed out!! Anyways, this week for youth we will be heading to Kits Beach for some volleyball and a devo (and perhaps even some KITE FLYING?! YEAH!!!) We will meet at the church for those of you who need a ride to the beach. Please message or call me to let me know if you are one of these people. I will announce the meeting time as soon as I know for sure.
RENT-A-YOUTH: So far we have Mrs. Cairns and Mrs. Deguzman who are asking for our help. They both just want some gardening done as well as mowing the lawn. WE REALLY NEED YOUR MAN/WOMAN POWER. The last car wash was pretty much a disaster due to lack of your guy’s involvement, and I know if we all don’t work together, our goal of fundraising $3000 won’t happen. But I know we can do it! So if you can spare a couple hours of your time, please let me know and I will contact you and we’ll make arrangements to go and help Mrs. Cairns and Mrs. Deguzman. Youth leaders, I’m asking you as well =) I’m willing to give up my time, is anybody else willing?!! I can’t do it alone.

Hab a Scavenger
Hey guys! So sorry for the super late message. I thought I messaged you guys already but I realized that it was a dream. No joke. Hahaha. Anyways! We will be having a crazy twisted scavenger hunt tomorrow at 7pm at the Church. Will there be prizes? Will there be NOT be prizes? Come and see

WAVES Youth Camp ‘08

Youth Camp is coming up (August 29- September 1), registration forms are still available and we have many spots left. Camp will be at Camp Luther in Mission, BC. The cost right now for camp is $120, it will soon go up to $140! The theme this year is “Sent” and our very own Pastor Bernie will be speaking =). Well hello again! As another one of our fundraising ideas, we’re gonna be doing something called, “Rent-a-Youth”. The title pretty much sums it up. People sign up on a sheet with tasks they would like to be completed (such as mowing the lawn, walking their dog, etc.) and I call one of you guys to go and do it! Bahaha. All donations will be going to the youth camp. Don’t worry, I won’t make you guys re-tile floors or anything PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get back to me if you’re willing to participate. we REALLY need your help. You may only have to do a few! So far I only have 2 willing participants and that is not enough =( Remember guys, this is YOUR CAMP. It’s YOUTH CAMP. Not YOUTH LEADERS camp. So I will not be busting my back to raise money for your camp because you should be doing it! I’d gladly help but the youth leaders and myself are definately not doing it all for you =)
